I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you genuinely want to be the change you wish to see; your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your heart. All of these elements brought me to start Eternal Agape.
My name is Mi’Kira Alex Jones. From a young age, I knew that the call of God was on my life. And I guess it helps that my dad is a pastor of my home church Revival Center COGIC in Monticello, AR.
Though my family was heavily involved in ministry, I was still given the space to find a relationship for myself. This, in turn, was the catalyst to the faith journey I am growing in every single day.
I am a SENIOR, Legal Communications major at the illustrious Howard University. As a young adult in my final year of college, I have experienced a multitude of trials and triumphs personally and spiritually. My faith walk is far from perfect, but I do hope that in me sharing my ups and my downs, it may encourage someone else.
This started as different daily devotionals I shared with my closest friends. The goal was to give a constant reminder of the promises our Heavenly Father has spoken out of His unconditional love for each of our lives. I eventually turned to blogging as a way to not only share the devotionals but talk about my daily Faith Walk and the things I am continually learning on this journey. The Bible does say “they overcame by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony” right? (Revelations 12:11)
In His word, we can find how His eternal love has the power to strengthen us, give us peace and understanding and commission us to provide that same love to others. I pray that this blesses you in the way it is already blessing me to share Eternal Agape.
